PUMPKINS

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!  We learned all about the pumpkin life cycle this week.  We labeled our pumpkin and filled in our adjectives chart - all about the OUTside and INside of a pumpkin.  They had a great time with this.  (I think my favorite adjective was "disgusting!" Ha!)

Next week is all about Thanksgiving and Turkeys!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  One more week of school and then a MUCH needed week break!  Yeah!

Halloween Chart

This last week we created a chart for our writing throughout the week.  The students gave me all the Halloween words they could think of.

Next week we will be learning about pumpkins.
We will talk about adjectives this week.
We will come up with as many adjectives as we can about the outside of a pumpkin and write it on the outside of the pumpkin on our chart.  Then we will talk about the inside of a pumpkin and add as many adjectives as we can on the inside of the pumpkin.

I'm excited to see all the words they can come up with for the inside of the pumpkin!
