So, I've been working in my classroom quite a bit the last couple of weeks. I actually really enjoy my time to work in my room during the summer. I have plenty of time to go through things and think through things that I don't have time to during the school year. I've been focusing on organizing curriculum. I took some random pics of my room to share with you.
So please tell me that your desks look like this in the summer:
I always put all my tubs in one place so I can see what I have when I'm organizing. Does this mean I have a problem? Am I a "tub" hoarder?
I bought these little chairs at Academy for $4.99 each! I'm so excited to have them in my reading center this year.
OMG! Have you seen these yet? I have like a bazillion Mercer Mayer books in my classroom.
I love Kohls!!!!
This is what my desks and floor have looked like for awhile. I've been going through all my center activities and organizing them.
The next two pics are what my team and I have been working on like crazy people this summer. Organizing all of our units for our reading series.
This is my messy table. Well, this actually looks a lot cleaner than it did a few days ago. (Gotta keep some snacks around - right!?!? I'm loving these strawberry almonds - delicious!)
So my daughters always come to my classroom with me. This is what kept them entertained this afternoon. Uno and Dr. Pepper!
Well, thanks for making it this far through all my randomness. I don't have a whole lot to blog about because this is about all I've been doing! :)
What have you been working on?
Have a great week!
Found you from your comment on Diane & Kelly's blog (Made for First Grade) and just had to visit...I love finding new first grade blogs:) My sons always come with me to my classroom when I work, too, and they find interesting ways of keeping themselves entertained:) Once, they set up dominoes all around my classroom floor! If you have the time, I'd love for you to stop by my blog! I'm currently running a giveaway for 2 children's books & $25 to Amazon or TpT! Enjoy your week:)
