Oh my word! I am super psyched about 25 followers! I just started this little blog in October and have already been amazed how much fun I've had. I have learned so much and been able to share lots of things with others.
It's that time of year for Inventor studies! I wanted to show you my Wright Brothers Informational Writing Unit. I took the Wright Brothers straight from First Grade Common Core Standards. Take a look:
Be sure and download the preview to take a closer look!
To celebrate 25 followers
I would LOVE to give one away!
All you have to do is:
*be a follower and
*leave me a comment -
Tell me you are a follower and tell me about the inventors you teach your little ones.
Don't forget to add your email address!
I will choose a winner Monday night - March 11th.
Please also check out my latest unit - Woodland Animals Shared Research and Writing. I am so proud of this unit and know you will love researching these precious animals with your littles!
Have a great weekend! (and Spring Break for some of you!)
Your units look great! I am already a follower and We learn about the Wright Brothers, Edison and Bell. I love the idea about teaching about John Deere!

Thank you so much! I'm really excited about my Woodland animals project and I just posted a Safari animals shared research project unit. I'll try and post about it soon. Keep a look out for it!
DeleteI'm a new follower! I haven't done a lot with inventors before, but I should probably do more!

I just found your blog through Fifth in the Middle (states). Another Oklahoma blogger! Yeah!!! Alexander Graham Bell is one of my favorites to teach...but also the Wright Brothers (only because I made up a song when I was in college & I have to sing it to my kiddos every year. lol).
